Douglas Adams, 83, of Marion, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Marion.

Surviving are his sons, John B. Adams of Vienna, Ill., and Terry and Ron Adams, both of Marion; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sue Adams; son, Larry Adams; parents, Louis and Myrtle Adams; and several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services were Friday, April 29 at Hurricane Cemetery near Tolu.
