MRS. ELIZABETH DUNLAP WICE
Mrs. Elizabeth Dunlap Wice, 78, of Niles, widow of James H. Wice, died suddenly at her home at 7 p.m. Monday from an attack of heart disease.
Mrs. Wice had been suffering from grippe since last Friday, but her condition did not appear to be serious. She was stricken suddenly Monday evening and died before a physician, who had been summoned, could arrive at her home. Dr. P.E. Cunningham, of Franklin, Venango County, Coroner, made an investigation and issued a certificate of death caused by heart disease.
Mrs. Wice was born and resided practically all of her life in the Niles District. She was highly esteemed by a wide circle of friends.
Mrs. Wice's husband died 22 years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Wice are the following children: E.J. Wice of Van; George Wice, of Polk; Grove Wice, of Franklin; James Wice, of Oil City; Mrs. Harry Donaldson, of Polk, and Mrs. Nettie McFarland, of Niles.
The body was removed to the H.L. Buchanan Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Frank A. Towers, pastor of the Rocky Grove Church of God, will officiate. Interment will be in the Sandy Cemetery at Polk.
