Bernice "Bea" Barlow
Bea passed away peacefully on April 9, 2006. She was born on May 21, 1928 to George and Myrtle Gunter in Lincoln, NB. She is survived by her loving husband Vaughn, brother, Robert (Gladys) Gunter; sister-in-law Lorraine Gunter; son, Michael (Linda) Edsinga; daughter, Sharon (Dan) Brown. Her loving grandchildren, Dwayne (Debbie), Juanita (Alec), Scott (Heather), Stephanie (Juan) and Steve. Bea also had 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. During Bea's nursing career of 50 years, she was a LPN and also served as an Ombudsman for Pierce County. In 1994 Bea was awarded the "volunteer of the year". Mom's family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the caregivers of Regency Puyallup Rehabilitation Center and Good Sam Hospital. We would also like to thank Dr. Biljan, Dr. Cook and Dr. Mann for their compassionate care. "Remember me with smiles and laughter as that's the way I remember you all. If you remember me only with tears then don't remember me at all. Mom we will miss you and will always remember that "you did it your way"
