Paul was the first child of Les H. and Ruie Inez Moore Wilkerson. On March 31, 1956, he married Elizabeth Anne McNeal. They were blessed with two children. He worked for the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority for 38 years (41 years with comp time added in) until he retired.
