Gladys Irene Conner was the second of three children. Her first marriage to Dr. Harrel Don Moseley (1917-1981) ended in divorce.

Glady's second husband was George Harold "Hal" Scroggin (1918-1974).Gladys Conner Scroggin passed away on March 19, 2006, in Plano, Texas, where she resided in Heritage Manor Medical Center since June 2005. Born on July 7, 1920, in Cushing, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of U.S. and Frances Conner. The Conner family moved from Cushing to Oklahoma City in 1923. She graduated from Central High School and Blackwood Davis Business School. She married Hal Scroggin and resided in Shreveport, Louisiana for many years and returned to Oklahoma City after the death of her husband in 1974. She was a longtime member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, U. Sam Conner. She is survived by son, Dr. Don Scroggin, wife, Julie, and grandson, Patrick of Washington, D.C.; son, Stephen Scroggin, wife, Yvonne of Dallas, Texas; sister, Peggy Herring and husband, Gene of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held in Shreveport, Louisiana, where her ashes will be interred in a grave beside her husband. Published in The Oklahoman on 3/23/2006.
