She was born February 13, 1910 in Bay City, Michigan, graduated from Visitation High School in Bay City and later attended U.C.L.A.
After moving to Detroit in 1926 she entered the advertising business and became Secretary-Treasurer of Wayne Advertising Inc., of Michigan and Ohio.
She married Harry Stanley Green in January 1931 and resided in Detroit until October 1941 when she joined her husband who was then in the Army at Ft. Sam Houston, TX.
During World War II, after her husband left California for overseas duty, she was employed as Senior Auditor (Instructor) in Legal Audit at the Los Angeles Regional Branch of the General Accounting Office. When the war ended, she rejoined her husband at Ft. Jackson, S.C. and after his tours of duty in Germany, Kansas, San Francisco and the Panama Canal Zone, they returned to San Antonio in May 1957 when her husband retired.
Mrs. Green was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Alter Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Col. Harry Stanley Green.
She is survived by daughter, Sharon Rohde, granddaughter Carolyn Jones, and husband James, and great-grandson, Parker of San Antonio.
