Born in Dowdentown, Pottsville, Schuylkill County; he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Havriska) Micklo.
He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ruthenian Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite, Bethlehem.
He was a member of the Army Amphibious Engineer Unit during WWII.
Survivors: Wife; daughter Teresa, wife of Richard W. Gerstenberg of Bethlehem; brothers, Stephen, Stone Park, Ill; Charles of Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, and George of Pottsville, and a sister Mary Lango, Pottsville.
