Was the son of Isaac D. Bowman and Lucinda Alice Biggers.
Married to Ruby RICH
Evans Bowman was shot/killed 01/27/1921 in Glasgow,KY
at the courthouse in a pistol duel while resisting
the law.
Evans was a war hero in France. WW1.

He was a handsome man, with a temper it appears. Some say he was ambushed in the Barren County Courthouse, behind closed doors - some say he planned it that way so he could exact revenge on local law enforcement's interference with the family business.
