Delores D. Atwood, 67, of 319 W 41st St, died in her home, of cancer.

Deloris Mullenix grew up and attended school in Sioux Falls.

She married Palmer Atwood on February 14, 1946, in Sioux Falls. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Apostles; ECW; VFW Auxiliary; past and current president of the Afternoon Worth While Club; DAV; and the Elmwood Ladies Club.

Survivors include her husband, Palmer of Sioux Falls; one son, Ray of Sioux Falls; three daughters; Bertha Clark of White, Bev Lee of Elk Point and Barb Atwood of Sioux Falls; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Walter of Hazel; and six sisters: Margaret Rohrer of Newport, WA, Albert Hennings, Mary Belle Oberg, Rose Scott and Patricia De Witt, all of Sioux Falls; and Bertha Wilson of Ephrata, WA.

Services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday in Church of the Holy Apostles, with burial in Hills of Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today in George Boom Funeral Home.

VFW Auxiliary prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Prayer service will begin at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
