"Newton attended school in Ballibay & Camptown until his 21st year, and then worked on the farm & taught school 3 winters. In 1873 he purchased from his father 50 acres of land in Herrick township, on which he farmed, (and) also carried on the business of buying & shipping hay & grain. In 1875 he went to Rummerfield & went into business with Wellington Whittaker, dealing in general merchandise, under the firm name of Morrow & Whittaker, until 1877, when they closed the business out & he returned to his farm, and has since followed farming, lumbering and shipping. In 1884 he purchased the homestead from his father; he has been a school director 2 years, & an elder in the Presbyterian Church. In 1872 he married Adeline, daughter of John & Mary (Fee) Nesbit, the eldest of 7 children & they had 3 children." (History of Bradford Co., PA, by Bradsby, 1891, pages 1037-1038)
Later, after the book above was published, they had a 4th child, Helen Adeline.
He died in Fremont, Dodge County, Nebraska where he was with his son Dr. Hamilton Nesbit Morrow, per the 3 May 1941 "Fremont Tribune," but was later buried in Camptown nearer where he lived all his life. (BB)
