James Merle Gault, 64, of Conway, Arkansas, died Friday, ,April22, 2O11 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born August 31, 1946 in Tempe, Arizona to Iola Pilgrim Robinson, and a few years later adopted and raised by Felton and Duriel F. Gault.

His parents preceded him in death and also one sister Jewell Roland of Seattle,Washington.

He was a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church growing up. Later on when he returned to Conway he joined Ebenezer United Methodist Church where he was a faithful member until his health prevented him from attending.

He also was a United States Army Veteran. He served in Vietnam and Thailand. James worked as a roofer for Covington Roofing Co. until his health failed.

He is survived by 9 sisters, Verdie Harris (Crit) Chicago, Il, Louise Collier of Little Rock, Arkansas, Patricia Ranker of Phoenix, Arizona, Linda Chamberlain (Ron) Piano, Texas, Vickie Payne (Curtis) of Conway, Arkansas, Anna Coleman of Allen, Texas, Susan Williams of Douglasville, Georgia, Jacqueline Gault, Conway, Arkansas, and Roxsand Gault of Twin Groves, Arkansas. His Step Mother Almeda Gault, Step Sisters Dianne Allen, (Kerry Joe) Arcotis Stanley, and Vivian Marshall all of Conway. One Brother J.P. Ester (Ann) of Felton, Delaware. Three children Parshay, McKenna, and Sam of Washington State, and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral will be 3:OO p.m. Sunday, May 1,2O11, at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas with Rev. Luther Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway. 5O1-327-7727.
