Luella Bosse
Luella L. Bosse, 86, formerly of Jenera, passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton, Ohio after a two year struggle with multiple myeloma. She was born on October 21, 1918 in Jenera, Ohio to Benjamin and Maria (Bormuth) Gossman. She married Edward Phillip Bosse on May 1, 1937 and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1997. She is survived by a son, Thomas E. (Joyce) Bosse of Loveland, Colorado; a daughter, Dorine (Merritt) Von Stein of Arlington; sister, Lenore Inbody of Newton Falls, Ohio; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are five brothers: Lawrence, Paul, Charles, Clifford and Robert Gossman; three sisters: Carrie Stelzer, Florence Hickman, and Magdalene Wierman. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked with her husband running their own hay business; she also worked at the Boss Glove Factory in Bluffton. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Thursday, April 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Stroup and Chaplain William Herr officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at CRATES FUNERAL HOME from 3:00-9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to either the Putnam County Hospice, or to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
