Helen P. Chavez, 88, of Ojo Encino, passed from this life on Monday, April 25, 2011, in Ojo Encino. She was born June 17, 1922, in Counselor.
She was preceded in death by her son, Roy Pinto.
She is survived by her sons, Ernest Chavez Sr., Nick Chavez and Paul Chavez; daughters, Nancy Larvingo, Eunice Chavez, Maxine Larvingo, Evelyn C. Lopez and Anna C. Martinez; 28 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29, at the Living Spring Baptist Church in Counselor. Pastor Tom Guerito will officiate.
Interment will be at the Counselor Cemetery in Counselor.
Pallbearers are Ira DeJesus, Randy Larvingo, Roland Chavez, Ernest Chavez Jr., Baron Martinez and Brandell Larvingo.
