Mrs. Lagow, 86, died Friday at a hospital in Rome, Ga., where she lived for four years after spending most of her life in Dallas.
She was a member of the Big "D" Chapter of the American Business Women's Association of Dallas, which named her woman of the year for her civic contributions.
Her son, Dr. Thomas K. Lagow, said Mrs. Lagow was very active but would do only a few things at once so she would not overload herself.
"She was very outgoing, and she found meaning in the organizations she was in," he said.
Other survivors include two granddaughters.
