Staria Preble married Capt Richard Codman, Jr. on September 10, 1789. She was his first wife and they had 2 children: Edward Preble Codman (b Aug 18, 1791); and Richard Codman (3rd) (b Mar 31, 1793), both of whom lived to manhood, but died unmarried and her line is extinct. Capt Richard died Sept. 9, 1833, aged 75, having survived both his children.
