Earle Clickner, for whom funeral services will be conducted here Friday, was deeply involved in sports for most of his life.

Earle's particular favorites were bowling and golf.

A capable competitor in both sports, Earle also played key admisistrative role and his behind-the-scenes efforts provided more and better opportunities for many of us.

Earl Clickner enjoyed his involvement in sports and those he competed with and against on a friendly basis. And he was quickly to lend a helping hand and words of encouragemeent to a novice learning the game or to a veteran off form.

The sports scene in Kalamazoo is better because of men like Earle Clickner. His contributions were many and will not soon be forgotten.
