Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Tiller Baird, 92, 901 S. McGregor St., who died at 3:28 a.m. today at McCune-Brooks Hospital where she had been admitted Thursday morning, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ulmer Funeral Home.
The Rev. Carl W. Garrett, will officiate and burial will be in Paradise Cemetery.
Mrs. Baird was born Jan. 9, 1891, at Avilla, and resided her lifetime in Jasper County. She was married Sept. 1, 1911, in Carthage to Judge J.C. Baird, who died Dec. 18, 1968.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carthage.
Surivors include a son James C. Baird II, St. Joseph; a daughter Mrs. Marjorie Petersen, Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
