COLUMBIA — Services for Florence Elline DeLaughter, 91, will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, State Street, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. DeLaughter, wife of the late Bill DeLaughter, died Sunday, January 14, 2007. Born in Paris, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Alma Luckey, mother of the late Cedrina Brown. She was a member of Eastern Star and of Rehoboth United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Stephanie Brown of Columbia, grandson, John D. Brown and his wife, Gayle Brown, three great-grandchildren, Cedrina and Joey New, Cherri Brown, Christin Brown, three great-great-grandchildren, Amber and Joseph New and Shauna Spires.
