MRS. FORRESTER RITES HELD
Hurdland Lady Buried Friday Afternoon in Greensburg Cemetery.
Funeral services for Mrs. William Forrester of Hurdland, who died Tuesday evening of last week, were conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Hurdland by the Rev. S. E. Botsford of Edina. Burial was in the Greensburg cemetery.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Forrester is survived by four children: Lula Belle, Mrs. Orville Swearingen, of Quincy; James W. Forrester of Burilington, Ia.; John William Forrester of near Novelty and Margaret L. Waterman of Stronghurst, Ill., and twenty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
As Sarah Jane Fiscus, a daughter of Daniel and Rebecca Fiscus, Mrs. Forrester was born Apr. 15, 1867, in Owen County, Indiana. When she was 16 years old she came with her mother and two brothers to Missouri and settled on a farm in Adair County. In 1891 she was married to Mr. Forrester, then of Baring. They were the parents of five children, those who survive and Pearlie Mae, Mrs. Rollie Eyler, who preceded her mother in death.
