MAYFIELD — Fred N. Bennett, 93, of Mayfield died Saturday at Lourdes hospital.
He was a member of Farmington Church of Christ and attended Seven Oaks Church of Christ in Mayfield. He was a retired banker with Bank of Farmington. He was an Army veteran.
Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Frances Bennett; a son, Andy Bennett of Mayfield; a daughter, Patricia S. "Susie" Brown of Kuttawa; three nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. His parents were James P. "Jim" and Mary Elizabeth "Bess" Yarbrough Bennett.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Byrn Funeral Chapel with Josh Ketchum and Stan Colley officiating. Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
