Ernest Lee German, 83, of Pasco, passed away Nov. 28, 2007. Ernest was born in Mesa, Wash., on Aug. 4, 1924, to Ernest and Margaret German. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Ernest was also a member of National Education Association and the Washington Education Association.
Ernest was a school teacher in the Puyallup and Moses Lake area. He was honored with Puyallup Teacher of the Year award. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, dancing and walking.
Ernest is survived by his wife Betty, stepson, Claude Pierret, stepdaughter Sina Pierret, and six daughters, Karen Seaborn, Kim German, Jeanne Avena, Joanne German. Jeannette Blakey and Karla German, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sister Darlene Heitzman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Margaret German. Brothers: Tex German, Bill German, Gene Farrell and Gordan German. Sisters: Judy Cobb and Nellouise Krueger.
