Services for August ''Gus'' Corso, 66, of Liverpool, who died Thursday at his home, will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 514 Turtle St.

Mr. Corso was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He retired in February 1986 after 47 years with Garrett Paper Co. Mr. Corso was also an usher many years at the War Memorial, MacArthur Stadium and Archbold Stadium.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, the former Wanda Russo; two sons, James J. of Syracuse and Ronald J. of Pennellville; two daughters, Rosemary Corso of Liverpool and Linda Naumov of Central Square; two brothers, Joseph of North Syracuse and Peter of Fairmount; three sisters, Anna Carrino of Syracuse and Rose Arno and Theresa Farnett, both of North Syracuse; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
