William M Bowmaster, 79, Orrtanna R1, Franklin Twp., died Tuesday afternoon at the Warner Hospital at 3:07 of lockjaw. He had been admitted to the hospital Tuesday morning.
A native of Adams County, where he resided all of his life, he was a son of the late John G and Mary A Sharrah Bowmaster. He was a laborer.
His wife, the former Anna L Deardorff, died January 26, 1946. surviving are a sister, Mrs. Anna M Bowmaster, Orrtanna, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Friday afternoon at 2:00 from the Bender Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Burtner officiating. Interment in Flohr's Cemetery.
