Danny Jack Cardwell was a loving simple country boy. He loved horses and all things cowboy or western. He was a very well-read man, nothing he liked better than a good book and a cold beer or a hot cup of coffee. He worked hard most of his life and even though he loved children he was never blessed with any. He died after a valiant fight with cancer. Diagnosed with lung cancer and had surgery in September 2007. After overcoming that by the grace of God, he was stricken again with throat cancer and even though he fought a good fight, this time he lost the battle. He died at home in his sleep and his horse Cowboy joined him 6 months later from cancer as well. Danny died young but he did alot of living in his time here on earth and in the end he told his sister that he was ready to meet his Maker. So while we mourn his loss we rejoice that he is in heaven waiting for us to show up.
