Albert "Andy" Curtis Anderson, 85, passed away on March 9, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, AZ . Andy was born on April 25, 1925 in Bellflower, CA to Albert H. and Blanch (O'Brien) Anderson.

Andy moved to Lake Havasu City 17 years ago from Los Angeles, CA where he worked as a telephone supervisor for AT&T for 38 years. He was a proud veteran of World War II in the U S Marine Corps where he bravely fought in the battle of Iwo Jima in the first wave of soldiers to arrive. He was a hobbyist with Southern California Racing Pigeon.

Andy is survived by his loving family, daughters Linda and Christine, brother Raymond, sister Pauline, grandchildren Janet, Alison, and Nicole, great grandchildren Brandon, Bailee, Brenna, Blake, Normandy and Andie. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Colleen and his second wife June.

Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday March 13, 2011 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be on Monday March 14, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Michael's Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating. Graveside service will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
