Bonnie Parker Blankenship, 76, of Bellmead, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at her residence. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Ara Rauls officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Bonnie was born in Love Lady, Texas, to the late L. B. and Ruby Robertson. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. "Jim" Blankenship, in 2008; four sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Kinchen, of Bellmead, Brenda Burney and husband, Charles, also of Bellmead, and Bonnie Boorman and husband, Steve, of Winnsboro; son, James Roland PenaDela and wife, Kim, of Waco; grandchildren, Joel, Dustin, Howard and wife, Bryony Sewell, Logan and wife, Mary Ann, and Justin PenaDela, Jacob and Derik Cordona, Christal Hardy, Tami Young, Georgie Sanders, William Smith, Amanda Clark and James Smith; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
