Frankie Allen, age 72 of Seminole, Florida, formerly of Rogersville, died Monday, July 6, 2009 at her residence.
She was a member of Hickory Cove Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Allen; parents, Hobart and Maxie Church Knight; sister, Johnnie Shipley.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Allen and wife, Lisa of Morristown, Travis Allen and wife, Angie of Issaquah, Washington; grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Allen, Matthew Evan Allen, Joshua Travis Allen and Sophia Mae Allen; sisters, Joyce Everhart and husband, Ken of Church Hill, Thelma Cross and husband, Charles of Loudon, Ina Allen of Kingsport, Norma Seaver and husband, Carl of Church Hill; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2009 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2009 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Larry Parrott officiating. Burial will follow in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
