In 1901, he led the American League in homeruns with 9, a .334 batting average, had a 27-game hitting streak and led the league in homeruns with 16, in 1902. He ended his career with 1085 hits, 478 runs scored, 51 homeruns, 556 runs batted in and a .294 batting average.
