Ricky D. Martin, son of Charlotte (Mathis) White and the late William "Red" Martin was born on July 4, 1953 in Vienna, IL.
Ricky passed away at 8:40 PM on Saturday, April 16 2011 at the home of his mother. At the time of his passing he had attained the age of 54 years, 10 months and 14 days.
Mr. Martin was united in marriage to Sharon Brown on October 15, 1982 in Jackson County, IL and they later divorced. He then married Sandra Ramsey on October 23, 1993 in Vienna and they later divorced.
Ricky had worked as a paralegal and private investigator up until the time of his illness. Ricky attended church at the Countryside Christian Church. He was a proud member of the Missouri State Bar Association. In his spare time, Ricky enjoyed fishing and watching movies with his sons.
Mr. Martin is survived by his sons, Jason Martin of Makanda, IL and Damian Martin of Anna, IL. His mother, Charlotte (Mathis) White of Jonesboro, IL, a sister, Jackie Sue Martin of West Vienna, IL, and by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, April 20, 2011, at 3:30 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Brother Bill Littrell will officiate.
Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
