Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Pritchett, her husband, Charles Malcom Bailey, two sons, Kenneth Daniel and Mike Bailey, five brothers, Rev. Lester Pritchett, Leonard Pritchett, James Pritchett, Grafton Pritchett, and Hollis Pritchett, and a sister Frankie P. Hall.
Mrs. Bailey was a faithful member of Bluewater Baptist Church, where she accepted Christ as her personal Savior as a young girl. In her later years she was faithful in Worship attendance at Mt. Zion Baptist Church where her son is pastor.
Her legacy was planting and growing things that made God's earth more beautiful. She has given bulbs, trees, plants, and cuttings to numerous people who have continued the cycle. Her philosophy of life was "as long as you share your plants, you always live on". Mama rang the cow bell at sundown and all her children would come in from the fields. That bell stopped ringing a long time ago, but she now rings the bell of heaven.
Survivors include three sons; three daughters; a sister; thirty grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren, four great –great grand children, close friend/sister.
