Gloria E. Albin, 88, of Camargo died at 8 a.m. Saturday (April 16, 2011) at the Palm Terrace in Mattoon, Illinois.
She was born Feb. 19, 1923, in Salem, Illinois, a daughter of Hallie and Hazel Finn Holt. She married Howard Albin on Dec. 21, 1952, in Springfield. He died Dec. 5, 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Albin and Kenneth L. "Buster" Albin, one daughter, Terri Dubois,one grandchild, Ross Albin; and two step-grandchildren, one brother, Jack Holt and one sister, Doris Large.
She served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
