Mrs. Wm. H. Baird died Sunday Feb 24th at the home of the daughter Mrs. C. J. Henly at Rochester, Wis.
Adelia A. French was born Sept. 21, 1829 in Chautauqua county, New York. She married Wm. H. Baird April 22, 1851 at Cherry Hill PA. In 1856 Mr. and Mrs. Baird moved to this state settling on a farm three miles east of the city. For the past two years, Mrs. Baird has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Henly at Rochester, Wis.
She is survived by five children, M. J. Baird, Minneapolis; Mrs. J.F. Faulds, Bandon, Ore; French F.Baird, Washington; Mrs.C. J. Henly, Rochester,Wis, and F. G. Baird of this city.
Funeral services were held at Rochester and the remains were brought to this city for interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
