THE DEATH OF MRS. JANE M. WHITSEL
Mrs. Jane W. Whitsel, wife of George A. Whitsel, died late yesterday afternoon at the family residence near Monroe. She had been ill for sometime and her death was caused from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Whitsel was born in Kentucky, June 24, 1847, and was an estimable woman. Besides the husband she leaves two children, Mrs. Charles Loveless, of Clark's Hill, and Fred Whitsel, of Ballstown, Illinois. The funeral will be held tomorrow.

Mrs. Jane W. Whitsel, wife of George A. Whitsel, passed away yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home near Monroe. She had been ill for some time and her death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mrs. Whitsel was born in Kentucky, on June 24, 1847, and leaves a husband and two children, Mrs. Charles Loveless, of Clark's Hill, and Frederick Whitsel, of Bathtown, Illinois. Mrs. Whitsel was devoted wife and mother and was held in high esteem, as a neighbor and friend. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow.
