Margaret Estridge, 80, Brookville, Ind., died Saturday, Dec. 31, 1988, in the Elsie Dreyer Nursing Home, Brookville, Ind.
She was born Dec. 21, 1908, in Metamora, Ind., the daughter of Jacob and Edith Edelman. She was married to Eli Estridge April 16, 1927, and he preceded her in death Oct. 23, 1984. She was a housewife and a member of the Metamora Church of Christ, Metamora, Ind.
She is survived by five daughters, Margaret Meyers, Batesville, Ind., Emmalou Grimes, Brookville, Ind., Virginia Turner and Linda Barker, both of Hamilton, Ohio, and Martha Hunter, Indianapolis; four sons, Neal and Dick Estridge, both of Brookville, Ind., Delbert Estridge, Columbus, Ohio, and Larry Estridge, Summerville, S.C.; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Metamora Church of Christ, with the Rev. Clifton Burton officiating.
Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Ind.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Phillips and Meyers Funeral Home, Brookville, Ind.
