JAMES ISLAND, SC - Geneva F. Cooler, 82, widow of Herbert W. Cooler, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Savannah House Assisted Living in James Island, SC.
She was born October 26, 1922, Orlando, FL., the daughter of the late Norman F. Ennis, Sr., and Daisy Shuman Ennis. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hardeeville, SC., where she taught Sunday School, Training Union and Bible School for several years, Eastern Star member and a graduate of Vashti School for Girls in Thomasville, GA.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Frances Elizabeth (Fran) and Herman Davis of Spartanburg, SC and Barbara Ann (Barbara) and Fred Veal of Charleston, SC; two brothers and their wives, Willard and Ann Burgess of Brunswick, GA and Gardner and Loranne Ennis of Sevierville, TN; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Herbert W. Cooler, Jr.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Sauls Funeral Home, Ridgeland, SC.
Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2005 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, Ridgeland, SC.
Burial: Maye River Baptist Church Cemetery, Bluffton, SC.
