Ogden- Norene Graham Paugh Doxey, Passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Aspen Care Center in Ogden. Norene was born April 2, 1944 in Ogden at the old Dee Hospital, a daughter of Orville and Olga Smith Graham. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Norene attended school in Huntsville through 9th grade and graduated from Weber High School in 1962.
She attended Weber State University and Utah State University where she got her BS and Master's degree in Home Ec. She taught at Madison Elementary, Ben Lomond High, Weber High, Roy High, South Jr. High and Rocky Mountain Jr. high retiring in 1966.
Norene married W.C. (Bill) Paugh Dec. 17, 1965. They later divorced. She married Clinton Ray Doxey on Nov. 21, 1974. They later divorced.
Norene enjoyed her catering business for weddings and open houses. She made friends easlily and loved doing for others. Her dogs were like family. She loved her Basenji's.
Norene is survived by three sisters, Rena (Mack) Stallings of Eden; Nelda (Lee) Price, of North Ogden; and Annette Harris of Ogden. Two brothers, Wayne (Lillian) Grahm of Livermore, CA; and Lee (Mary Ellen) Graham of St. George, Utah. She was preceded in death by both parents and two nephews, Scott Graham and Kris Graham.
Funeral services will be held Tueday, Dec. 21, at 11 am at the Larkin & Sons Mortuary, 496 24th St., Ogden, where friends may call Monday Dec. 20 from 6 to 7 pm and Tuesday one hour prior to services.
Interment, Eden Mountain View Cemetery.
