Adrian L. "Junior" Beard, Jr., served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955 and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of VFW Post 6504 in Waterloo, Illinois. He was a member of Ironworkers Local 392 in East St. Louis, Illinois, for 43 years. Adrian loved to work in his yard and garden, to bowl, and to tell stories. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and how he loved and cared for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Eulah (Ramage) Beard, Sr.; five brothers (Thomas, Charles, Eugene, Billy and Edward Beard); and three sisters (Mary Richie, Betty Bieri, and Barbara Childerson).

He was survived by his wife of 55 years, Deanna (Sauerhage) Beard; two sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren, and two sisters.
