Born Jan 18, 1940 in Chillicothe, OH to William Franklin and Edra Ruth Overpack Anderson. Moved to Columbus, OH around 1942 growing up in the German Village area living on Deshler Ave. Jim Graduated from South High School 1958 and attended Ohio State University. He served in the US Army and then the Ohio National Guard. He first married Esther from Columbus in 1963. They divorced in 1970 or 71. In 1972 Jim met and married Diana. His father died in 1980 and his mother in Oct 1984. Both are buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus. Jim became ill March 1985 with renal cell cancer. After several surgeries and recoveries he succumbed to cancer 6 Sep 1985. He was a wonderful father to 2 step-daughters, Melissa Lynn and Lynda Denise. His grandfather, James G. Blaine Overpack lived with the family until his death in 1964. He is buried at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus beside his wife Jennie Mae Patterson Overpack.
