Played Major League Baseball for five seasons (1884 to 1888) as a pitcher for the Kansas City Unions of the Union Association League, the St. Louis Brown Stockings (Cardinals) and Indianapolis of the National League, and the Cleveland Spiders and Kansas City Blues of the American Association League. His career totals were 18 Wins-50 Losses, 75 Games Pitched, 200 Strike Outs, 258 Walks and a career 4.09 Earned Run Average.
