Emil T. Boehnke, son of Friedrick and Wilhelmina (Dorow) Boehnke, was born August 2, 1887 on the family farm north east of Garner. He married Frieda L. Lade and they had three children, Ramond F. Norma and Lillian. They farmed thier intire life together. Emil passed away on Janury 27, 1971. Furneral services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial in St.John's Cemetery.
