Died. -- COOPER -- In Brooklyn, on Monday,October 21, 1872, Elizabeth Hicks,widow of Commodore Benjamin Cooper, U.S. Navy, in the 77th year of her age. Relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, the 23d inst., at 3 P.M., from her late residence, 168 Hicks st.

Obituary.
Mrs. Elizabeth Cooper.
Yesterday morning at six o'clock Elizabeth Cooper died at her residence, in Hicks street, at the age of seventy. Mrs. Cooper was one of the oldest residents of Brooklyn. Her father was proprietor of Hick's ferry, now Fulton. Her husband, Commodore Cooper, at the time of his death, was in command of the East India Squadron, and was one of the officers of the vessel which carried over the American Commissioners who signed the Treaty of Ghent. In the course of her long Christian life, Mrs. Cooper made numerous friends. Her charities will long be remembered by the poor, and none will more sincerely mourn her loss than they.
