CUMBERLAND,MARYLAND -- B. Carlene Zehrbach, 76, of Cumberland Nursing Home, formerly of Cumberland Manor Apartments, died Sunday, March 1, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.

Born April 19, 1921, in Keyser, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Russell and Bernice (Keplinger) Ketterman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raphiel H. Zehrbach in 1992; one brother, Charles Ketterman; and one grandson, Jerry Ray Lease.

Mrs. Zehrbach was a homemaker. She was a member of Cresaptown United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Cowden and husband, Earle, Cumberland; Deborah Gray and husband, Paul, Cresaptown; one step-daughter, Patricia Corley, LaVale; one brother, James Ketterman and wife, Wanda, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; one sister-in-law, Mary Ketterman, Cumberland; one sister, Helen Pyles and husband, Ray, Fort Ashby; six grandchildren, Jeff Hammersmith, Jason Hammersmith, both of Cumberland; Jason Gray and wife, Kaylene, Aaron Gray, Joshua Gray, Andrea Gray, all of Cresaptown; and two great-grandchildren, Travis Moyer and Shannan Gray.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
