Mrs. Alfred W. Dunican
Mrs. Carolyn L. Dunican, 52, wife of Alfred W. Dunican of Shaftsbury, died unexpectedly at her home early this morning. She was an inspector at the Eagle Square Mfg. Co. in Shaftsbury.
The daughter of Clark and Muriel (Phillips) Green, she was born in Bennington Oct 18, 1919. Her education was received in Bennington and North Bennington. She and Mr. Dunican were married in Bennington on June 21, 1936.
Mr. and Mrs. Dunican had resided in Roxbury, Vt. until 1968. She was a member of Mt. Anthony Chaper 1, Order Eastern Star.
Survivors besides her husband are two sons, William H. of Bennington, and Carroll Dunican of Northfield, Vt., her father Clark Green of Woodford; five brothers, Wendell Green of Montpelier, Roger of Wisconsin, Ernest of Keene, N.H., Henry and Clark Green, Jr. both of Bennington; one sister Mrs. Merle (Marilyn) Becker of Woodford; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 pm at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church with the Rev. Franklyn Klein, Jr. pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in the spring.
Friends may call at Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. An Eastern Star service will be at 7:30 pm Thursday.
