Chico, Calif.--Lois Pullen Almond, 63, died of a short illness Sept. 27.
A native of Aberdeen, she was the daughter of Bob and Coral Pullen. She had lived in California since her marriage in 1950 and taught school in California for a number of years. At the time of her death she was working with severely mentally retarded childen.
Survivors are her husband, Robert M. Almond of Red Bluff, Calif.; one son David Almond; one daughter Laurie Phillips; a sister, Katherine Pullen Durant of Boca Raton, Fla.; and one grandchild. She is the niece of Mrs. Nathan Pullen of Amory.
