Mrs. Adams was born on Oct. 20, 1921, in Walthall County, and had been a resident of the Coast since 1951. She was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church and was employed at Sreling Drugs from 1959 until 1973.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose W. Adams; her father, Billy Webb; her mother, Courtney Webb Leet; a sister, Eva Brumfield; and two brothers, Arthur Webb and Eddie Webb.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Adams Grimsley of Sumrall; three sisters, Jenny Simmons of Gulfport, Marie Barber of Columbia, and Dena Hutchinson of Carson; and a brother, Otis Webb of Gulfport; and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport. A service will at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
