Joe Willie Pickett, Grocery Clerk
-- FORT MILL - Mr. Joe Willie Pickett, 49, of Harris Road died Jan. 28, 1989, at Piedmont Medical Center. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at James Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. R.A. Graham and the Rev. G.H. Lowery officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
A native of York County, he attended Fort Mill schools. He was a clerk at Davis Grocery Store.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Minnie L. Pickett; a son, Anthony Heath of New York; a daughter, Mrs. Teresa Jackson; parents, Ezra and Calethia P. Johnson; brothers, Ezra Johnson Jr., Lonnie Johnson and Dennis Johnson, all of Rock Hill; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Potts, Mrs. Kathleen Potts, Mrs. Linda Barber, Mrs. Mary J. Boulware, Mrs. Alfreda Spratt, and Delores Davis of Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
