Jerry Ward Bezler 53, of Mattoon Il. died Saturday May 22, 1999, at his home. He was born June 21, 1945 in Fulton to Howard C. and Sadine Bullard Bezler. He married Gail Elizabeth Patterson on November 22, 1968 in St Charles Minn. She survivors of the home.

Other survivors include, two sons, Steven Bezler and Jonathan Bezler, both of Mattoon, his mother, Sadine Bezler, of Columbia, three brothers, Howard Bezler Jr. Forth Worth TX. Marshall Bezler of St Joseph and James Bezler of Bixby Okla. one sister, Mary Ann Waggoner of Barr Head. Alberta Canada. and three grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth, Cody Dean, and Dillon Lee.

He is preceded in death by his father and three brothers.

He was president of JWB distributing inc. He was member of the Matoon golf and country club, attended St Lutheran Church and started a Local Cancer Support Group for Men.

Services will be May 26, 1999 at the Schilling Funeral Hoe, his brother Rev James Bezler will officiate. Graveside services will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. with the Rev Bruce D. Osborne officiating.
