Funeral services for Annabelle Higgason will be held Saturday 11:00 A.M. at the Peace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Walter Meyer officiating, burial will be in the West Bend Cemetery with Schellhammer Funeral Home of West Bend in charge, where friends may call after 1:30 P.M. Friday.
Annabelle Higgason, daughter of Lee and Della Albright, was born on March 4, 1914 at Kellogg, Iowa, and moved with her family to Iowa Falls, Iowa where she was educated. On October 15, 1934 she was united in marriage to Wallace Higgason at Eldora, Iowa. The couple moved to West Bend in 1945, where they owned and operated the West Bend Auto Co. Wallace Higgason died in 1974.
Annabelle passed away last Wednesday morning, April 15, 1981, at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg reaching the age of 67 years.
Surviving are: Daughter, Mrs. Don (Rita) Hanselman of West Bend, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. One sister, Mrs. Alvin (Betty) Sielaff of Alden, Iowa; two brothers, Bernard Albright of Colorado and Charles Albright of Kansas City, Missouri
She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, 4 brothers and her parents.
