Her helpmate, spouse of 53 years, and father of their nine children, predeceased her in 1934.
Their son John Daniel Collins (1 May 1896-4 Jun 1947) passed away 2 days prior to her death, and it was decided to hold a 'joint' funeral for Mother and Son in Shawnee, OK. Then the burial to take place in Seminole, OK, in the Collins Family Plot, in the Maple Grove Cemetery, in Seminole, OK.
