Ellen Hatch was born in Trumbull County, Ohio to Oliver and Catherine Hatch. When she was a young woman she moved to DeKalb County, Illinois, where she married Orin G. Findlay.
The couple had four children and settled in Hancock County. Two of the children, Ernest and Harry, died in the 1870's and Orren died in 1884. Ellen moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado with her two other children after 1900.
Her husband, the two kids, and perhaps her brother, Charles Hatch, are buried in Augusta. Ellen was my great, great aunt.
I am hoping to contact any of Ellen's descendants regarding family Civil War information.
